Pharmaceutical Archaeological Works
Following on from a demolition project that was carried out on site in Hertfordshire LS Civils were asked to mobilise to reduce the building footprint down to original subsoil levels.
A team was then on site for 8 weeks to works alongside KFDK Archaeology to identify potential roman burials that were thought to be beneath the original building footprint.
In total 31 Roman graves were uncovered and many of the remains and artefacts are now displayed in a local museum.
